Steve Carden
In 2006, Steve began coaching at The Hockey Academy at Western Michigan University. While in Kalamazoo, he also worked with the Kalamazoo Wing ECHL team and Puckmasters Kalamazoo in hockey operations and coaching roles for several years. Steve has been an assistant coach for Grand Rapids Christian High School since 2020/2021. He also coaches in the Michigan Hockey Development League (MDHL), focusing on the West Michigan Green Team and the U15 AAA tournament team. In addition to coaching, Steve scouts for the Trenton Golden Hawks Junior A hockey team in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL). Steve is also the current Hockey Director for the Grand Rapids Blades. He possesses a profound dedication to player development and is committed to demonstrating that increased effort correlates directly with improved outcomes. Camp Focus & Structure
This camp is designed for players aiming to advance their skills over the holiday break to stay sharp, get better, and improve.
Total Camp Duration: 3 hours per session.
Skill Breakdown (per session):
- On-Ice Training: 90 minutes
- Video Analysis: 30 minutes
- Instructional Shooting: 30 minutes
- Instructional Dryland: 30 minutes

Eagle Eye HDP Summer Camp

Eagle Eye HDP Summer Camp offers an unmatched off-ice experience, combining intense hockey training with classic summer fun. Despite the summer heat, it's the COOLEST camp destination! Campers will hone their hockey skills in shooting, passing, offensive/defensive strategy, dryland, and stickhandling, among other areas.
To capture the essence of a Michigan summer, each day includes exciting classic summer activities. Participants can enjoy slip nโ slides, water gun battles, water balloon fights, soccer, dodgeball, four nations games, capture the flag, a Stanley Cup build-off, a jersey design competition, wiffle ball, and much more. The camp balances rigorous hockey development with the joy of traditional summer camp pastimes.

Roller Hockey
Stick and Puck Roller Hockey - Summer Only
Looking for an intense thrill and a fun way to develop your hockey skills this summer? Join Eagle Eye Hockey Development for our "Stick and Puck" Roller Hockey sessions, designed for all ages and skill levels!
"Stick and Puck" is an open-ice session where participants can work on individual skills, play informal pickup games, and enjoy the sport of roller hockey in a less structured environment. It's the perfect opportunity to practice your stickhandling, shooting, passing, and skating on our amazing surface, all while having a great time.
Program Details:

Equipment Needed:
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please come prepared with the following equipment:
- Roller Blades: (Regular athletic shoes are also welcome if you do not have roller blades)

We will provide roller pucks and roller balls for all sessions.
